ATI to allow users greater optimization control

The guys at DriverHeaven have an early 'teaser' about the feature which is supposed to be released tomorrow.

This will likely be followed by a bunch of IQ review with the ATI and nV optimizations compared.

All I have to say is that it's about time.

Greater control for the advanced user is always a good thing.

I like ATi's optimizations...20+% performance gain with no IQ loss. Heck, I like anything that'll add frames w/o noticably reducing IQ (or only lowering it by a minute amount).

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

Nv should add this too!

The thing i wonder now is if review sites will use or not the optimisation when benchmarking....i think they should.
