AVG Anti-Virus no longer recognised

Hi,

I have AVG 7.0 Anti-Virus installed, up to date and working. However just
recently Windows XP security center has started saying that I have no
ani-virus installed. I have tried removing and installing AVG again but this
didn't fix the problem. AVG is normally recognised by Windows XP. Anyone
have any idea what the problem might be?

AVG 7 Free works just fine for me with Windows XP. No static from
security center or anything. Are you still getting the updates for
your version? The virus base should be 266.11.12 dated 17 May 2005.

Yes thats the virus database version I have too. I have the paid for version
too.
