I have two working Timber boardsets. My plan was to convert one of
them to a RB Tapper so I can do a boardswap in my Timber Cabinet.
I have read conficting info about this though. KLOV states that Timber
is MCR II and RB Tapper is MCR III. I have seen other sites that claim
both are MCR III. I am confused.
So I have a couple of questions.
1. Can a Timber PCB be converted to a RB Tapper?
2. If so, how? The ROMs have been dumped for MAME, but the locations
are not noted.
it shows Timber as an MCRII and Tapper as an MCRIII but I think it also
states that it might be possible to run the roms on MCRII hardware.
There is also a faq on ionpool.net that Clay wrote on how to make an MCR
multigame that may be of some assistance.
Hope this helps. Sorry I don't have an exact answer to your question.
