Is it possible to scan while it is stuck on the side of a machine?

sure thats possible, but it would be the past option really. id rather
not do it if it came down to that option

I don't blame you. I can just imagine how hard that would be.

Thanks,

i believe I mentioned this last time someone brought this up.

take a few high resoultion photos of the side art and send them to me.

take one with the art filling the photo frame.
and 'divide' the art in 4 corners and take a close up photo of each corner
standing square and level with each section you photograph to minimize
distortion.

photos should be clear as possible.

i'll trace the artwork and probably post it on the artwork repository site,
then you can get it inkjet printed yourself or I can have it done for you at
about $15 a sq foot.

the printer i use does very high quality solvent based prints on adhesive
vinyl up to 1400 dpi.

i used them for the artwork on my mini ms pac.

while nothing beats silkscreening, this is the next best thing in my
opinion. i have no complaints about it and i'm a graphic designer.
