New ATI Linux Drivers Out

Not as timely as our Windows posts (released 9/29), but for anyone running Linux (yes we no you lurk out there beyond the borders of '<i>fortress</i>' :lol: M$. It appears you need to pick your card to reach the proper page, I didn't want to link everyone to the R9000 or 9600 page and mess up their $hit;

  2. was installing linux today, and was planning on installing that. Apparantly after I installed linux, it wont boot from it bcos linux could not write the damn boot loader to my NTFR primary partition. Damn !

    Yep, it's been a long LONG time a commin' as the song goes.

    Well, at least now they look serious about it. Hopefully something over the next little while.

  4. Which Linux distro? Knoppix 3.2 and 3.4 wrote bootsectors in my primary NTSF partition without any problems.

  5. fedora core 3 test 2

    I can actualy use pq bootmagic, but that requires creation of a small fat32 partition. but i dont plan to do that as my primary is RAID 0. dont want to fiddle with it.
