New ATI Linux Drivers Out

Not as timely as our Windows posts (released 9/29), but for anyone running Linux (yes we no you lurk out there beyond the borders of '<i>fortress</i>' :lol:  M$. It appears you need to pick your card to reach the proper page, I didn't want to link everyone to the R9000 or 9600 page and mess up their $hit;

was installing linux today, and was planning on installing that. Apparantly after I installed linux, it wont boot from it bcos linux could not write the damn boot loader to my NTFR primary partition. Damn !

Yep, it's been a long LONG time a commin' as the song goes.

Well, at least now they look serious about it. Hopefully something over the next little while.

fedora core 3 test 2

I can actualy use pq bootmagic, but that requires creation of a small fat32 partition. but i dont plan to do that as my primary is RAID 0. dont want to fiddle with it.
