How do i set up the multiple monitor system on my dell inspiron 1545

when i right click on my desktop and go to settings I only have accessibility to one monitor how can i change this so i am able to hook up to a tv with a vga cable

There's a Function button on the keyboard that you have to hold while you press the LCD/Monitor button - it allows you to switch between the connected display and/or the LCD o the lptop
