I'm stuck in Doom 3 again

I just started the Hell level, and I went into that brick room, where the brick closes up behind you. I have been stuck in there for two days......no shiit.

I need to know how to get out.

My suggestion is to stop playing Doom 3. This game is only god for the amazing graphics! All my friends and collegues have only plyed it for a couple of days. It's getting boring to run down all those corridors without a good story...

Doom 3 is a great demo for the 3d engine behind hit, but I don't think it deserve high review scores. But, this is my opinion..

By the way, for your "stuck problem" have you search Google for "<A HREF="http://www.google.com/search?q=Doom+3+walkthrough&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial" target="_new">Doom 3 walkthrough</A>". You answer is surely there!

Hmm last I remebered you need to run a bit down there is a relic in that area. Once you have that you are all pumped and whatnot run around and punch the living [-peep-] out of anything once everthing is dead the room will open up and your 2 day struggle should be over.

I would go check my saved games but... the new patch pulled me back to the beginning of everyone of my saves levels.

I think it's awesome. I haven't played it much since I beat it, but I did fire it up last night and it scared the sh*t out of me. It might not have any real tactics or stealth, but the atmosphere works to an incredible effect, at least for me. It's not for everyone, but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. I think people had all sorts of different expectations about what it was going to be like, and some of them were dissappointed. Oh well. IMO id accomplished what they set out to do, which is scare some folks.

I finished the game last night. It was pretty fuccking awsome.

And yes...I know that I was one of the first to cry "Doom 3 sucks" when it was initially released.

Somewhere around the Hell level, I got into the storyline, and the graphics were jaw dropping. Every where I went, I couldnt believe how good it looked, and how well ID Software pulled it off.

Did everyone else find/push the ID brick towards the end?

I agree that Doom 3 is scray to some extent, but when you get scared over and over agains with the same stuff... Lights goes out... Beast appears from nowhere... the remember be of the old "Friday the 13th" movies!

It's good, but after a couple of hour it gets boring! But, I'm sure the engine will drive many good game in a near future!

I played doom 3 for 20 minutes, enjoyed the graphics, then turned it off and havnt touched it for weeks. My love for that type of straight foward linear gameplay and the typical wanna be story line went out with nintendo.
