eVGA GeForce 6800 vs Leadtek 6800

Well I've been looing at these 2 cards for a while now and the main difference I can see is.

eVGA 6800: $397 (CAD) comes with FarCry.
LeadTek 6800: $405 (CAD) comes with splinter cell pandora tommorrow and a few others.

My question is which of these 2 cards runs better, I havent been able to find any benchmarks where the 2 cards are put head 2 head.

Also, which one of these cards overclocks better.

Leadtek has better OCing capabilities. Look at the massive heatsink on them. Performance wise at same speed, both cards will do same bcos they are based of the same core chip. Also i wud prefer pandora tomorrow over farcry.

I agree with PriyaJeet, about the LeadTek (Well except about FarCry, I personally prefer FarCry over SplinterCell).

Anyways LeadTek is known for their great heatsinks, and good overclocking abilities. My last card was a LeadTek and it was an awesome overclocking.

Anyways, I personally have the eVGA 6800, and it is definitely not capable of unlocking the last 4 pipelines (Others here on the board have expierenced the same thing).

Haven't heard anyone talk about the last 4 pipelines on the LeadTek, so you may get lucky and use a software mod to turn it into a 6800GT.

Anyways, even if you aren't going to overclock or try unlocking the last 4 pipelines, or mess with anything like that, the LeadTek card I still feel is a better choice, just becuase of the heatsink.

[-peep-] that [-peep-] get a galaxy man then enable the extra piplines if ur shooting for the vanilla 12 pipline like i did,

i now have a 16 pipline card no defects check the size of the heatsink to its mad and quite.

Well im going with the Leadtek, I heard on another website the same thing, Leadtek is better for OC'ing and some of those guys got their cards to unlock the last 4 pipelines.
