Biggest Graphics Card comparo I've seen, 101cards!

Well IXBT has deicded to post a comparison of just about every major card from 1999;

That's 101 cards in a bunch of tests. The graphs speak for themselves, but as usualy if you WANT to read the write up, then you will need <A HREF="http://www.systransoft.com" target="_new">Systran</A> which has a free translation tool (what babel is based on) on it's front page.

Talk about comprehensive!

Unfortunately, the low resolution used hinders a lot the actual comparison on the best cards because they're handicapped enough to perform near last generation's cards if not 2 generations ago's ones. It makes it less obvious, but the figures for the 5 year old cards speak for themselves. Still surprising to see them able to play recent games though. Makes you wonder how 5 years pass by and even then, the cards can STILL do some of the new stuff, albeit with horribly bad frame rate.

Love the house and decorations though.

Same chart, the Radeon 32DDR (7200) beats out the FX5200 64-bit. LOL, But at least it's a DX9 card. :tongue:
