I refer to the latest VGA charts, in which a score of nearly 120 fps is posted for higher-end video cards in UT 2004, with AA/AF off and max details.

My question is, how the hell did they get this score? I think I am having a problem with my card and/or drivers. I typically get around 30 fps during normal gameplay, maybe 50 fps if I'm staring at a wall. I am running an Athlon 3200+, 9800 Pro, 512 RAM w/ latest software for everything. Catalyst profile is set to Performance.

The test btw is 1024x768, max details, AS-FallenCity map.

heya Kchen;

You definately have a problem somewhere, i suspect it has something to do with your OS, it sounds like you need to do some Fall cleaning, blow that sucker away and do a fresh OS instal, and see if you can regain some performance that way. You should be getting a couple hundred FPS while staring at a wall, the floor or the ceiling.
