Hello one and all.

It seems that I have a hole burning in my pocket?
For almost a year I have been using a MSI Geforce 5600 128mb and it has been running just fine.
However I have been thinking about upgrading the card to another Geforce 128mb card.

I thing that any card above 200 is nutty. With this in mind, (cost between 150 - 200 bucks) what is the latest and greatest card these days?

Any Suggestions out there?

No nVidia card is worth its coin in that segment (the only one left is the 5900XT, anyway). The best sub $200 card is the FULL 9800Pro. However, there are the x700 and 6600 coming soonish to AGP, but you'll have to wait awhile for at least one (6600GT should be here in about a month; X700XT: more). Anyway, right now isn't a great time for that segment because great cards are coming any week now (already available in PCIe form), but we don't know exactly how many weeks.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.

You can sell those in minutes @ anandtech trade forums. I sold 2 GIGs of memory there in 5 min, and even got the money.
