For one AMD has already licensed the EV6 bus - so Intel can't revoke that. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's correct. And besides the point AMD will not be using the EV6 bus in the future processors anyway. If I'm incorrect in my statement then please let me know the correct information.

Now I realize that by our posting to this stupid thread that we are just fueling his stupidity, but I feel that this point should be made.

As far as the guy who posted that he would rather pay 2x the amount for an Intel chip because they are reliable/stable as we've asked FUGGER to do, produce a list of the incompatabilities or problems with AMD chips. I have a 1.2 athlon and it's purring just like my camaro, no problems at all. I'm not saying that Intel is unstable or is a pos chip, but I would rather pay 1/2 the price for a chip that has more bang(in my opinion at least) for my buck.
