How to hook ps3 to emachines laptop using hdmi

Hmm, short answer. Not with the way todays technology works.

Generally laptops have hdmi as an output, not an input. So most likely no, like said above.

The only laptops that I know that have HDMI input are a few of the Alienware laptops.

Just slightly more expensive than eMachine laptops.

No there is no laptop with HDMI as input and likely never will be.

As I stated, Alienware laptops have HDMI input; specifically the M17x and M18x models in the current lineup. In the Tech Specs both laptops clearly lists "(1x) HDMI 1.3 Audio and Video Input".
