when i download pk 2 my display setting go to lowest 4bit. I cannot slide the
bar to adjust. I clicked on automatic reset to no avail so I removed sv pk 2.
Any suggesions?

Yes, reinstall your video drivers after applying SP2.

Mybe your graphic driver does not support with this version of
windows. Please check your graphic vendor site.
