I'm really beginning to hate Nvidia. They used to be really good, then game the crapo FX, now they got the GF6 that doesn't have any good drivers!!! the 66.93's are waay slower than the older 61.77's!!! My HL2 Source benchmark used to score 118 fps now it scores 93, whats up with this crap? My 3dmark score went down to. You could say just go back to the 61.77's but they have graphic flaws in CS:source.

Maybe you guys just suck fat nut with your inability to find real drivers =o, after trying a few on guru3d, I found drivers that put my 3d bench up by about 1,800. You guys just need to broaden your horizons and start benching / tearing drivers apart to find the optimum ones. Theres plenty of great drivers out there right now and im sure the nvidiots are going to realease something wonderful soon for those inept at finding a good beta.

Ummmm...why should I have to use betas to get good performance?? I don't with my 9800 Pro in my second computer. My point is is that Nvidia should not be realeasing drivers witht he quality that the 66.93 has!! I've heard more complaints and problems with it than the beta drivers.

running nVidia, you have to get used to the fact of running beta-drivers. Their beta quality if often way higher than the official in regards of visual quality IMO

I hear you guys, and know what your saying, it would be nice to just go to nvidia.com and get the very best optomized driver. It sucks having to go look around and see which one works for you but at least the option is there.

Ever since I formatted im using the drivers off nvidias website. Im getting 115fps in cs source so until I get my ram fixed and feel like benchmarking again Im not even gonna be messing with beta drivers.

I agree with you.
I just went on a post saying how good I thought the 66.93 was.
I got improved results from the update, when I actually expected to be disappointed.
Guess I'll be getting some more flack cuz of my post.

Use driver cleaner in safemode and make sure networking aint enabled or your network card is unplugged.

Using driver cleaner in normal boot resulted in endless finding and deleting of the same drivers, at least for me.
