Dear Friend,

I bought vga card ELSA FALCOX 955 128 MB DDR (AGP 8x), my Mainboard ASUS P4C-800 DELUXE and the OS Windows XP, The problem is , the VGA Software (Smartgart) said that i can't used the 8x agp, but i'm very sure that the mainboard is 8x agp system, I Did somecheck with directx , and it said that my AGP Texture Accelaration are disable, dose anyone can help me ??

Try updateing your mobo BIOS. Also try a different card in there.

Go into your BIOS and manually set the AGP bus to 8x instead of auto. A BIOS update maybe required.

It's called "Section 419". Basically they are trying to get access to your bank account, so they can drain it off to somewhere in Africa where it will never be recovered. I was in Ghana last summer, and there were some Liberian dudes who were trying to be friendly, and they asked me for full contact info and everything. It's become a very sophisticated method.

Was this a new build? Did you install the motherboards chipset drivers?
