well, we dont have a forceware comaprison here yet. But get the latest forceware, for they'll be among the best - as each comapny - ATI and Nvidia - are taking out better performaing drivers everytime to keep their numbers high in games.

Missed this post, when replying to the other.

But yeah, nV abandoned the GF4 series with the 5x.xx (focus on helping the terrible FX) and then abandoned the FX with the 6x.xx drivers.

Not that ATI is any different, they abandonned the R200 series after about 3.4-3.7 and seem to be focusing on the X series ever since the 4.5-4.7 series.
