What Backup Utility software works best for Windows XP Pro? I have used Nortons Ghost for Win98SE, and Drive Image for WinNT/2K. Both applications work fairly well, but the old versions of each application don't work on WinXP, so I am shopping for an app that works with WinXP Pro. I usually back up my 8GB OS/software partition on one CD and my data partition on another set of CDs. Any application suggestions and opinions would be much appreciated.

What version of Ghost do you use. I am using Ghost 5.1d (just plain easy) to do all the MS OSs (they have to be in FAT though), and Ghost 2k2 (have to enter number all the time to restore) for NTFS (w2k3 server too).

By the way, how do you manage to fit "8GB OS/software partition " on one CD?

and <b><A HREF="http://www.powerquest.com/driveimage/" target="_new"><font color=red>PowerQuest Drive Image</A></b></font color=red>.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

Ooops! I meant on one CD set. I don't think any compression is THAT good.

PowerQuest DriveImage 2002. I've been using it for a while and it is quite a great backup utility.
