ATi X300 question

Not offhand, but they're out there.

But all you need to know is that the X300/X600/Radeon 9550 series are just other names for the Radeon 9600 GPU.

Just look at the CPU and GPU speeds, and memory interface (64 or 128-bit, X300s also come in both flavors) and find a review of the comperable 9600 or 9550 to get an idea of how fast it'll run

I've been wondering for a while..
What's the difference between X300 and X600? it seems to me that both are 9600 based, and share the same spec?

They don't share the same spec, the X600XT has 350+mhz memory X600PRO has 300mhz memory and the X300 and 300SE have 200mhz memory (the SE being 64bit). Also the cores of the chips are different speeds, The X600XT is 500mhz, the X600Pro 400mhz, and both the X300s 325mhz.

There's also the mfr process difference, with the X600 being LOW cal 0.13 and the X300 non-low-k 0.11, and the difference in the quality of the HSF assembly. The mfr process difference seems to favour the X600s as the Low-k process seems to offer a nice deal more overhead.

But if you can overclock a regular X300 w/ 128bit memory to either X600 level they should perform similarly, however I doubt the memory is even close to equal quality, so that's unlikely.

So the differences between them are core clock, memory clock, quality, and process difference right?
When I said they both share same spec..I mean they both have same graphics technology..
like Radeon9200 does not share the same spec with Radeon9600, but X300 and X600 do right? both have 4 pipes, and 2 vertex units etc..

Yes it's basically an R9600 core shrunk down using the 0.11 process.
