? bout 6800's temps

my friend bought a dell(ugh) with a 6800...i dont know what brand it is or antyhing. and he wants to know what a safe operating temperature range is(he thinks it running too hot). i usually use ATI cards so i have no idea.

i did search and didn't find any definitive information. one thread said his running at 80 degrees but no one said if that was too high or what IS too hight. thats why i asked.

what is he running, then we'll tell ya if thats too hot. also is it a GT, or just a reg 6800?

sorry to be wasting so much time, i meant for this to be an in'n'out question.

best i can figure is that its a PCI express 6800 GT. it runs at a bit over 50 idle, cant measure during load cus the sensors software based.
