I'd like to know if there are great differences in performance between the Radeon 9600 XT 128 MB and the 256 MB version. In addition to that, does anyone know a URL where these two cards are compared?

Thanks a lot

I would not touch any 256mb card unles they are the high end one using 256bit memory. Most of the time the 256mb 128bit performs less then 128mb 128bit cards.

Ahh, d00d? 9600XT uses 128-bit RAM. That's how they necked it down. Same with the 9500 Pro. The 9500 Pro had the same 8-pipe chip as the 9700, the 9600 had 4-pipes but at a ~50% higher clock speed. Hence the 128-bit limiter.
