Congrats to the Reds for their significant win, hope you will go all the
way!

P.S. - Funny that money can't buy everything *sarcastic mode on*
(What proves the argument is insane.)

*s. m. off*

The winners are the clubs that played better when needed. I'm specially
glad we won the league, as a league involves several matches and
regularity.

Better luck to the Blues next year.

But the CL is harder to win, and Im very proud of Liverpool :)

Showing that Rafa is a great tactitian.

And money does buy everything just you were beaten on the day, unlucky, but
i seem to recall last season when chelsea beat arsenal in the CL it was
hardly deserved, luck is the point.

What a shame, chelsea only win 1 decent trophy.

how poor can be your comments?
ONLY?
we got what we wanted, Chelsea first of all wanted the EPL Trophy.
For the second consecutive year we're at UCL semis, something you can't
imagine, so we're proud.
The Carling Cup is not so relevant, but it's better to win it than to
loose, and we needed to let FA Cup to the second best team in England :D

Too bad players like Hyppia, Riise, Finnan and Traore will play in a
CL final. The only one who really deserves it is Carragher.

Liverpool seeing that they soon have a new owner and that they`ve
reached the final...and gotten a few millions out of that, and the
sponsor money, value of the club by reaching the finals etc.

It will be really stupid if they win it this year and then can't enter
next year. UEFA deserve a real kicking for not giving the holders
automatic entry.

You obviously didn't watch the game, therefore you have no right
commenting on this. Ferreira was injured and missed both legs of the
Liverpool game. Now get into your cage and stay there....

Next summer I probably will. My wife just started working, so we`ll have
more money and that`s sort of important since they don`t give away plane
tickets to crete for free... I`ll my son Lars as well. He`s nuts, so
prepare the police. We went to see the "robots" movie today, and trying
to control a 4 year old boy in a movie...well....

So...I guess you didn`t see the QUESTION MARK then...:
???????????..?????????. I had no idea who was playing right back, I was
in shock because Traore dribbled passed him...

And the ball was in..;)

In all fairness, he is a very good right back, but I think these last
couple of season he has been mediocre at best. Maybe the this is a team
thing, I don\t know. I just think that Finnan is a better right back,
but you notice him more since liverpool is a more defensivly oriented
team. United is more attacking, so they use neville more as a defensive
right midfielder and Finnan is also attacking, but he plays a bit deeper
than Neville, and that is probably easier for a right or left back,
since the other defenders are right behind them if they make a mistake.
I really don`t know, i just think Finnan do "smarter" things.

I've just hijacked this message, as I filtered out your previous one before
I'd replied to it.

I understand what you're saying about Liverpool getting a sizable amount of
money, but in my opinion they're too inconsistent to win the Premiership.
All teams have to endure injuries, so that's not really an excuse, and
Liverpool should have sufficient quality in their squad to knock off teams
like Crystal Palace. So far this season Liverpool have lost four more games
than Chelsea, Arsenal and Man. United combined. And I just can't see them
coming out on top of those teams next season.....or the season after
that.....or the season after that.....etc.

> And the ball was in..;)

I honestly don't see how it could be given as a goal, when none of the
camera angles provided a clear view. The linesman couldn't see the ball as
Gallas was obscuring his view, and the referee was relying on him for help.
And a Champions League Semi-Final match is hardly the time for guessing.

I didn't realise there was an official club. Where do I sign up? Is it
just for Gary, or does it cover Phil too?

They may not give away plane tickets for free, but it sure is cheaper
to fly from London to Crete than from Athens to Crete :-) It's also
cheaper to book a hotel room in Crete from England than it is from
Greece :-)

Can't blame them for wanting to keep Greeks out.

You can see the ball through Gallas' legs. Take a look:

But the linesman wasn't standing where the camera is. From the
linesman's position, the ball would have been invisible.

Sky Sports used the "virual replay" system on the goal, and concluded
that it hadn't crossed the line.

To be honest that doesn't convince me.

I reckon I could get a game for them, if I said "To be sure" a bit more.

You can see a very small fraction of the ball, from another obscure angle.
That doesn't do any more to convince me that the whole of the ball was over
the line. And the fact remains, that the linesman still couldn't have seen
the ball from where he was.

Sky allegedly used an Israeli, missile-targeting system to prove it wasn't
over the line.

I could be England captain if I just threw in hundreds more "erm, yeah, you
know, etc"
