When I try to telephone dial contacts from Outlook 2002, I get message that
there was an internal error in the automatic phone dialer.
I'm told that the problem is in XP, not in Outlook.
I can't find any phone dialer in XP Professional. If I go to Start |
Programs | Accessories | Communications, the dialer is not listed there.
The help section doesn't say how to get to it or how to start it.
I've tried loading optional features from the XP CD (Add/Delete Programs)
but it doesn't show up there.

Hyperterm is an app included with XP. Open a terminal, create a connection to the number, save the connection, run it, and uphook
when you here the ring.
