HL2 CPU limited deffinately!

You can see my system specs below, and my system scores 53.4 fps average on 1280x1024 with 4xaa and 8xanis all graphics maxed on 66.93 drivers. Now on anandtech they havve similar setup except with much faster cpu(A644000) and their GT scores 72fps average on the same level(City 17). Now i'm looking for a CPU upgrade, but don't want to spend a whole lot of money. My board can take a faster cpu obviously, but which P4c's tend to oc the highest? I'm looking to get a 3.0c or 3.2c and then oc(i think they are in the 200 price range) that should give my about a 10~15 fps increase in HL2 after I oc it. But again which one tends to oc higher?

Funny that Intel went to more capable cores on the 2.4C and 2.8C but not the 2.6C, no? It's almost like they INTENDED the 2.4C for overclocking, LOL.

Anyway, the good cores go up the line from there, so a 3.2C shouldn't have that much advantage over a 3.0C, but then again, it's luck of the draw.
