I have an ati origional 9800 pro xt 256mb and was wondering what the best clock rate is for that card. I just got it and do not want to screw it up, so if anybody knows some safe overclocking please let me know.
Well, you can use the built in driver Overdrive to OC the card. XTs come with Overdrive support. Get the Omegas if you wanna use the Radlinker instead.

First thing first, what did you get, a PRO or an XT.
The PRO 256 is a memory DOG, the DDRII is not a very good Oc'er, I also have never heard of an R360 based Pro-256 so the core will be lower.
The XT is a far better overclocker on the memory and the core.
Checking the OC 3Dchips forum here a THGC (like Ned suggests) may yield better information on actual numbers.
