It could be both. It might also be that your controls for the green gun
are set improperly (along with the red and blue). I would suspect the
transistor first. If that tests good (you can swap the red for the
green to see)then you might try adjusting the controls on the neckboard
(where the controls are 90 % of the time)and if not that, then it is
probably the tube.

I lost the RED on my monitor once. I tried all of the stuff these guys
are saying. Turns out it was a bad connection on the edge connector.
The pin wasn't touching the finger on the PCB. Weirdest thing and it
took a while to figure out.
