Error with Control Panel file C:Windowssystem32netsetup.cpl.

Everytime I try to open the Control Panel in Windows XP, I get this annoying
message:

" An error pccured while Windows was working with the Control Panel file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\netsetup.cpl. "

All the programs in the Control Panel work fine. That message is the only
problem. I have SP2 installed. I've browsed all the threads, searching for a
user with a similar problem who might've solved it, but came up short. One
was close but, I didn't want to perform any task without knowing for sure
what the problem was and how to directly fix it.
