I love that country, the dollar goes along way. 47 Rupees to 1 dollar. I was freak'n rich over there. My hotel was Rs.750 per night.. about $15

I was running tech support for a mission trip..

by -tech support- i mean making and running power point slides and movies over a digital projector out in remote villages at night. We had like 700-1000 people turn out every night for 15 nights in a row. Had the leaders of villages try to marry their daughters off to me

Sadly, they were no more than 13 or 14 years old

I was in Ghana last summer, and I had the immense displeasure of riding in "tro-tros" for hours on end. They're basically 30-year-old vehicles that break down five times a week, that they convert into buses by adding more seats than is comfortable and, on top of that, continuing to stuff people into the bus until the thing can barely accelerate. The <b>only</b> benefit is that they cost like 50 cents for a really long ride. I won't even tell you about the ride to Mole National Park.
