I got a Palm IIIe.. but I really don't play any games
on it (well except maybe subhunt) but what usually
do it put novels on it.. then I just read on the plane
or something.
Intel Components, AMD Components... all made in Taiwan!
Oh yeah, and a little tip for Game Boy Advance users:
The screen is incredibly sensitive to any lack of light. This can make it rather difficult to find proper lighting to play a game. But not all hope is lost.
I picked up a snake light thing for the Game Boy Color. The Game Boy Advance uses the same multi-player port. (In fact, even the original Game Boy does.) So you can plug that light into the GBA. However, you will have to make two modifications. 1) Break off the little piece on the light that sticks out over the plug. 2) Because the port on the GBA is upside-down, you have to bend the wiring to go the other direction or else you'll just be illuminating the bottom of your GBA.
With those minor modifications, it works great. The only flaw is that because of where the multi-player port is located, you can only play original GBA games with the light plugged in. The older carts stick out so far that they cover the multi-player port on the GBA.
Oh yeah, and also if you own a GBA, get head phones. Maybe it's just me, but where they located the speaker is where I often rest my thumb. Not a great design if you ask me because then the sound and music get muffled. But with headphones, you don't have that problem anymore.
-THG isn't AMD biased. They just turn Intel mobo reviews into AMD vs. Intel debates for fun. Yeah.
