ok ok OK! Guys need some help! (again.)

Was playing Counter-Strike Source and my system just blacked out. The screen just turned black and it was like wtf, I have never experienced anything like that before. Take note, it doesn't lock up, it just went poof, and nothing is responding. The keyboard numlock is on, the situation is just like when you switched on yoour computer. The fans are still spnning though. No sound, Alt-control-delete also no use.

Ok, then i pressed the reset button on my case, and tried to lower all my overclocked settings.

1) from 2.4ghz to 2.2ghz
2) all voltages back to normal (ram, graphics card and CPU voltages all to normal.)
3) backed my card frequencys to 480core/714mhz
4) uninstalled the ATI 4.11 drivers and installed the Omega 4.10beta drivers.
5) realised that in my RAGE3DTweak under the OpenGL tab, the forced 16bit textures was on (means that all the textures over 16bit were forced to run only in 16bit -_-|| ), so i unchecked it. 3Dnow, SSE and SSE2 enabled under Rage3DTweak.

Ok this is the thing. Realised my AGP speed is 8X. (I had issues with Doom3 last time, tried EVERYTHING INCLUDING FORMATTING MY HARDDISK, and realised that by reducing my AGP speed to 4x, the game will not lock-up anymore.)

Ok, now last time when i first got my half-life 2, i was playing with the Omega 4.10beta drivers. completed without any problems. with AGP8X and OCed CPU, Ram and Graphic card.

After i installed the new 4.11s, everything when haywire, and thats when the blackout happened. Running with AGP8X.

Then i reverted back to the 4.10beta, with AGP8X, WITHOUT OCs. Blackout. The nick is that PREVIOUSLY, when running the same drivers, i can run a AGP8X, but now, i have to run at AGP4X to prevent BLACKOUTS (not lockups).

Is this problem got to do with my graphics card or mobo? Thanks...

yeah I have done that, but does it have anything to do with my card not being able to run in AGP8X? Not that I mind that it is running only 4X now, there is practically no difference coz R9600Pro's don't even use up the bandwidth of AGP4X, not to say 8X. I just want to find out why it CAN'T run at AGP8X. May be upgrading to the newer cards soon, so I'm quite concerned:

Mobo fault or card's fault... If the mobo is the culprit, I'm doomed for all eternity.

Anyone knows??? I havn't got another AGP8X compatible card to try out, and my 3Dmark03 is the Demo version, cannot get it to loop bench.

AND IM SHORT OF CASH.

I try to stress test again using 4.10betas and AGP8x on Need For Speed Underground 2 DEMO, see wheather it will blank out on me.

Running OCed settings again, Voltages for CPU, Ram and Card all up 5%, which is 0.05v.
CPU at 2.4ghz, Ram 220mhz, and card 480/714. Played CS:S for few hours no problems at AGP4X... now trying to up the speed of my card to the one in my sig again...

If I were you I will get into TH PSU reviews and see which well known brands deliver very poor performance and are WAY over rated by the manufacturer and do not live up to the expectations of the end user who has no way to check the power being delivered.

Get inside here and check if you have one of the brand names
with overly optimistic outputs...maybe you need to replace your PSU.
