ERROR MESSAGE HELP!!!

i am trying to install xp and i keep getting an error message about a file:
ati2mtaa.sys...????????? HELP i just want xp

The file in question is an ATI video card driver. It might have been helpful
if you posted the text of the error message, but in any case here is where
you can find technical support for ATI products:

If you can, you can run windows in safe mode when you restart your computer
with the computer's logo and press F8 key
