Printing problems with windows 7

Hello,I just installed Windows 7. If I have been on the internet and then want to print something, it goes to the print queue for the printer I want but with the status "error". restarting the queue doesn't work. If I reboot, then it prints upon restarting???

What sort of printer are we dealing with here? It sounds like the driver is either not up to par or was installed the wrong way. With HP printers, for example, there are sparse drivers out there for W7, so you either have to use the Vista or XP drivers and you have to do a manual install via the control panel. It may not install all the way, but give it some time and then do a restart. You should be good to go from there.
