Hi

XP PRO

Just installed all the updates from the Update programme that comes with XP.

However now when i shutdown a little window appears in the middle of the screen with a little scrolling toolbar asking if i want to shutdown/Restart etc.
Not the bigger one with the 3 Coloured Buttons to click on.

Also when i restart it now comes up with a little Window with my name in it and no password.I have to click on this to get to Windows. Before it would just boot straight to my Desktop.

So how do i get the old way back?

Thanx

open the control panel, cick user accounts, click change the way users log on or off, make sure you tick the box that says "use the welcome screen". this will fix it for you.

Death, taxs and P2P are we clear?
