XY monitor swap question

Is there any reason that a star castle monitor wouldn't work in a
battlezone?(other than the monitor overlays) Anyone?

Cinimatronics have all the decoding circuits on the monitor itself.
Atari has it one the CPU board. Won't plug and play.

As far as a tube swap? don't know.

The tube you could swap, not the chassis.

Umm...

the fact that it has completely different power requirements, and takes digital
inputs rather than analog?
