Hi all,

I have 10 systems with Soltek SL-75FRN2-L Mobo's and GeCube Raedeon 9600XT 256MB video card's. When adjusting brightness or gamma ingame on battlefield vietnam, farcry, halo or Doom III it freezes the system and it requires a hard reboot. This happens on all 10 systems

I have tried the 4.7, 4.8 and 4.9 catalyst drivers from ATI, the omega drivers and the drivers off GeCube with all the same results. The only driver that works is the 4.2 catalyst. But this driver doesn't give the same performance and are not recommended for games like Doom III or HL2.

I have also tried changing every BIOS config available with no success. As well as updating the BIOS and Mobo drivers.

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated as I'm exhausted.

Thanks.

Weird. I liked that mobo and used quite a few of the RL's myself. Sorry can't help besides saying i never saw that issue in MOHAA with a 9500 pro. I have a Ti4200 in mine now and it's in a nighmare of an AV cabinet as far as removal goes. Otherwise, I'd have given it a try with BF1942 or farcry for the fun of it.
