tech: galaga cocktail power supply

i just got this galaga cocktail and was trying to use one of arcadeshops
power supply conversion and its not working. i hooked up the adapter and
where should i tap in the ac? i tryed tapping into the lights but it didnt
work. what do i need to do any ideas would be helpfull.

Why not just use the original linear supply? They run *much* better
from the original. My Galaga was never quite right with a switcher and
did some strange things.
If you must use the switching supply, get the AC from the primary side
of the isolation transformer.
