I used to be able to connect to some web sites,now I keep getting DNS errors all the time.I have tried them at work and they load no problem.What could the problem be?

Your DNS server probably has an error or is down. Try connecting to the site via it's IP address to bypass DNS.

when that phenomenon has happened to me, i have "deleted temporary internet files" and "clear history", and re-boot...

this has taken care of the problem.... if it does not take care of your problem, then it is probably your ISP and their DNS name server (as mentioned above)....
