NVidia to power PS3

I didn't believe it at first, if cell technology is so powerful, why use a somewhat conventional GPU for graphics?
I understand that it'll make it easier to program for, but still isn't sitting right.

This just heats up the whole MS vs Sony, ATI vs NVidia war!

maybe that's why nVidia cancelled NV50?

SLI would be way too expensive to make in a console... but then again, rumor has it that MS is putting Multiple IBM CPUs in the next Xbox.
