Hey guys....I have a beautifully restored tron that is on the brink of
causing me to commit hari-cari ! (sp?)
I have a sound issue (I have no sound, that is the issue!)
I have tried numerous things, including switching out the board stack,
all with no effect.
I think that I may have a problem with the amp, rare as that may be, so
I am looking for a WORKING one that has been tested, let me know if you
have one for sale.
The other MAJOR problem I have is the sound wiring. Some of my
connections were frayed, so I rebuilt the plug with the help of some
Bob Roberts parts. BUT, there is a difference between the way that the
game was wired and the schematics !
Could someone PLEASE send me the wire-color pin outs of both the plug
that goes into the sound amp board and the connection on the board
stack itself. I have the schematics, so I dont need that, but if your
TRON is wired the same, that would be valuable info.
I am not sure if the previous owner just got lucky and picked the right
spots for the wires, or if there was a change at some point in TRON's
production that changed the wiring.
