I installed a new software and now every time I restart my computer or click
on the new program icon Windows Installer pops up and wants to reinstall that
spftware again. How can I stop this?
I have XP2 on my system.

You can go to run, type:services.msc In msc scroll down to installer, double
click on it,then change from auto to manual,or manual to auto,(play with it),
usually manual to auto eliminates alot of problems. You can/could also down-
load and install installer 3.1 from microsoft, try search,type:893803

I did all of that but still have the problem. I have to click cancel 6 or 6
times before it will stop. I even uninstalled the software and reinstalled it
but the installer keeps popping up.
