What is the difference between Saphire and Saphire Atlantis ??? if any.

I don't know which specific models you refer to, but Saphire is well known for producing cards that have slower memory and are underclocked, and cards with 1/2 the memory buswidth. They also produce standard versions. You have to read the specifications on these cards to know what you're getting.

The same is true of Powercolor and most other full-line venders.

Accessories that come with the card is the difference. The Atlantis as far as I can figure has more cables and CDs than the 'non-Atlantis' version. It might even come w/games. As far as the card goes, I haven't seen a difference.

What Crash said is true. Check on the card's interface before you buy. There's a lot of vendors out there that offer 128-bit Pros when they should be 256-bit.

Without Crash's advice I would've ended up with a castrated 9800Pro for 150Euros. I ended up getting a 9700 non-Pro w/256bit interface for 132Euros.
