Ok, I have a Geforce 6600 GT card now (PCI-e), but I'd like to go SLI. Now should I buy another 6600GT card or should I look into buying the surprisingly cheaper NX6800-TD256mb?

On a side-note, what is the difference between the NX6800-TD256mb (PCI-e) and the more expensive NX6800GT-TD256mb? As far as I can tell everything is identical between those cards... at least according to the general MSI website.

Is it a bad thing if there is smoke coming out of my case?

If you've already got the 6600GT you'll get better than 6800 non-ultra performance by getting another 6600GT.

Or you could sell your 6600GT and get a 6800 nonultra.

Depending on the dollars involved, you have to decide which is more advantageous.

On a side note, I don't think the 6800 non-ultra is SLI compatible.

Well, thing is that I really am new to SLI PCI-e... odd thing is after comparing card type, the MSI website is not even listing the 6800 card I mean. Will have to call the supplier to verify there.

Is it REALLY worth getting the 6800GT over the 6600GT? I mean does the performance differ that much between those 2 cards?
As for budget, I can spend about 600 Euro on those cards.
