I know this sounds complete lousy, but then again Windows is not always as logical and easy going as you might think-- I am running WinXp Pro Sp1 and when running scandisk (at startup) it does not tell me if an error was found or what it was. It reboots as a sign of having found and corrected something and then runs scandisk again... I figured that much out.

My question is: Where is my scandisk.log file? I does not appear anywhere, I suppose it is to be displayed elsewhere, but where?

Yours sinful, Mopeygoth

Event Viewer (typing eventvwr.msc at Run command).

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
