Cassandre, try this link:

http://esupport.sharp-eu.com/html/driver/index.php?StartRec=0&ListLimit=10&TemplateLang=en&Lang=GB&ProdLine=34&SortOrder=DESC&OrderBy=Title&OS=W732&EMU=%&SearchString=al-1655cs

It took me a few minutes to find this website, but I was able to download both the W7 64 and W7 32 drivers. The regular Sharpusa website seems to have some issues...I wouldn't waste your time there. This is a way better Sharp site.

Watch out for the driver download sites! They are ALL wolves in sheeps clothing! An hour searching for the right manufacturer driver is better than months of frustration at the crap they put on your hard drive! Good luck!

Revived old post, but Newer answer: Use the URL above and substitute the AL-2050CS driver for your AL-1655CS. This compatible driver works great on Win 7 64 bit, including duplex option! Note: I'm network printing, so you may need to play with the port manually.

Took me a couple years of work around to spend the couple hours of trying substitute drivers. Hope this helps someone.

When I first bought this printer there was no 64 bit windows driver. Then, for a brief period of time there was a 64 bit driver for Vista and 7 offered at the Sharp USA website(which works for 10 as well)...but after a mere few months this window (no pun intended) of opportunity vanished leaving only the 32 bit version available again. NOW the entire driver page for this model on the sharpusa.com website has been "archived", furthermore, when I try to visit the archived page the site claims to be experiencing "technical difficulties", and that I should try again later. I have been trying again later for just about a year now.

Fortunately I was able to find the 64 bit driver on an old hard drive, so I have the elusive 64 bit driver again for Vista, 7 and 10.

I just uploaded the driver files to a file cloud. I had to cut the driver files .zip folder into 2 so I could meet the file size requirements of my free file hosting service. Make sure to download files from both links and read the README files I wrote so that you can re-assemble the original file structure:

You are welcome, and remember, never buy Sharp again!
