Hello, which version of windows 7 upgrade do i need? my system currently has vista home premium 64 bit and 32 bit on it

This is confusing, are you running Vista Home Premium 64-bit, or 32-bit? Or, are you saying your computer is capable of running 64-bit, but you are currently running 32-bit?
Since you are currently running Vista you can purchase an upgrade version of Windows 7. But, if you are moving from 32-bit to 64-bit, or vice versa you will have to do a clean installation from the upgrade disk.

Why would you want to downgrade to a 32bit OS?
Vista 64 rocks. Don't waste your money on the very problematic Windows 7.
I haven't found either problematic.
Anyway, yeah, stick with 64bit - it's the only way to go!
