I have 3 computers at my house. The printer (canon mp730) is connected to one of my roommates computer. I used to be able to connect to this printer through my wireless network on my old Vista laptop. Now that I have built a new win 7 desktop, i cannot seem to connect to this printer, i get an error saying it can't find the drivers.

I 'borrowed' the printer one day from my roommate to see if it was a win 7 compatibility issue, but it worked fine when i connected to the printer through usb. All the drivers installed fine and it printed a test page.

Any help on resolving this issue would be a great help. Thanks!

Just in case...Specs:

Intel i7-860
ASUS Maximus III Formula
ATI Radeon HD5870
8GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3 RAM
WD 300GB Velociraptor HD
WD 1TB Caviar Black HD
850TX Corsair PSU

Has your room mate set up file & printer sharing for your new pc, or are you expecting the old settings to work?
