BlankI posted this before, but didn't see my post or any replies, so sorry
if this a repeat.

I have WindowsXP, all upgrades, no viruses, trojans, etc.

Everytime I go to Start...Control Panel, it freezes for a few seconds. Then
I get a message the IE has encountered a problem and must close. Then it
takes a few seconds and IE closes. It starts again immediately, but many
icons in the taskbar disappear. If I reboot, the icons are back till the
next time I have to use the control panel... Than the sequence starts all
over again.

Please...any ideas on how to fix this.

Thank you,
Helen
