Well I've been browsing around the 20,000 or so new posts, and I haven't seen a trace of folks like wusy, AMDMeltdown (not that I miss him), tbirdinside, and a whole lot others I can't think of the top of my head. Most of the posts I see are from newbs like Fatboy, err, something like that. A few old timers are still here though, like you, Bubba, and good ol' Griz.
As for your interesting sig, you take a crap on my lawn, and I sure as hell will take 2 on yours.
Speaking of sigs, even though I've been gone forever, I still we have the same sig of the week as when I left
- Tempus fugit donec vestrum relictus tripudium. Autem amor praeterea magis pretium.
I've gotten the most interersting responses to my sig. A newbie thought I was directing it towards him in my post and he went crazy. I couldn't stop laughing.
All those guys are still here...wusy is just playing some kind of game a lot...He posted a link the other day.
Yeah, I took a crap on your lawn. Whatcha gonna do about it?
I'm not so fond of new names. Especially when almost every post is just another newbie asking a question that has already been asked 300 times. If they'd only bother to look around a little, we wouldn't have 300 new posts in every section each day I come back to this forum.

Thing is I'm not exactly a newbie. Well I am to this forum but I used to be on HWC, JJR's and OCP. But my network banned those sites and this is the only one left with a forum. Just tryin to find my way round it.
So far all I seen is lists of people everyone wants banning, Some die hard compaq fan, and a bunch of flamers. Going well.
Pls tell me that you are at least slightly normal.

Fear not. I am probably the most grounded person on this forum.
I used to read HWC when I was a newbie, and I currently read [H]ard. They get so many funny links on that site. I wanna go to one of their Friday get togethers at Hooters.

I'm still baffled as too how you became a nimble knuckle in under a month. I've been on this forum since october, or was it september, I reply to almost all inteligent threads, and I still can't seem to peerce that 1000 mark. So close...
Hmm...You must spend alot of time arguing with Intel Arses or AMD Lemmings, which ever company you fanatically but nonsensically support.

Nope, not really. When I first started working here (late May), I was told that my position wasn't ready yet, it'd be ready to go by June 1. They're still not ready to have me start my job.
Nobody really knows what I'm doing at my computer all day, and nobody seems to care too much.

If buttpluginside gets banned, I'll be so happy I'll even go buy an Intel.
I should be more specific. I'm the "Help Desk Specialist" at a small global company (about 200-250 employees in 4 offices worldwide). So when someone's computer breaks down, they call me. Eventually.
They purchased an expensive helpdesk software suite to use for this, and it took a decent amount of time to set up (wasn't quite done when I arrived). There's also a lot of agreements, etc. that need to be approved by the execs. Nothing moves quickly in this company. I found out the original start date for my job was April.
Right now we're looking at probably mid-August (realistically) for me to actually start doing my job.
Don't get me wrong, I'm doing my best to find stuff to do, but it's an uphill battle (what a shame .

And they've been paying you since April?! Sounds like my dream job. Hmm...Maybe you should sabatoge their setup plans to delay the arrival of actual work. Hehehe...

Nah, it's getting kinda boring, and they've sunk so much into this project, I don't want to see what happens if it fails. But thanks for the idea anyway
