Just got a GeForce 6800 with 12 pipes. Anyone know how to unlock the last 4 pipes to 16?

Download rivatuner . On the NVstrap page ,Install it. Then change the hardware shadowed 4pipes and 1 vs unit to a 1 instead of 0. reboot and try it.

Hmm, you kinda lost me there. Its does show the card as 12x1, 5vp. If I check off BIT 01, it changes to 16x1, 5vp. But upon reboot is back again. Should I make it 16x1,4vp? Even if I do check these off, the state remains the same, ENABLE or DISABLED.

Did you put a checkmarh in the box that says.
Allow enableing of hardware masked units????

Then click "customize" button.
On my card bit 02 ,Pixel unit 2 was dissabled or hardware masked. (yours may be different)
Click on the Hardware masked units. The corresponding bit entry at the top will highlight. Type a 1(one). Now do this for the Vertex unit. Same thing click on the hardware masked uni. And type a 1(one).

Click OK . Click OK Reboot when it asks.

Just got a chance to try it again and it worked. You da man. The bits were a little different from what you said, but I figured it out. Thanks again.
