I’ve been having constant PC shutdowns with the message box that something like. The box includes a countdown timer to let me know how long before the system reboots.


System Shutdown.
Save all your data. . . yada, yada, yada. . .
The shutdown is ordered by NT Authority\System
Windows must restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly.


I think it may be happening primarily (perhaps always) when I’m on the internet. What the heck is going on here??? Who is this NT Authority and why is it out to get me?? J
